Applying For A Russian Visa

In order to apply for a Russian visa, you must include an official "Letter Of Invitation" with your application to the Russian Embassy in Washington D.C..

To apply for a Russian "Letter Of Invitation" through YWAM Perm, you must submit the following:

  1. Copy of your Passport
  2. Date of Birth
  3. City of Birth
  4. Home Address
  5. Name of Employer (In full, no abreviations)
  6. Employment Address
  7. Employment Position (Title and Responsibility)
  8. Dates for entry/exit to Russia
  9. Specify 90 day single entry or 360 day multiple entry invitation
  10. Russian Consulate where you will apply for your visa (country and city) (We reccomend Washington D.C.)
  11. Receipt of your application fee
  12. Receipt of your letters of reccomendation from your pastor and other leader

NOTES:

  • We highly reccomend applying at the Russian Embassy in Washington D.C. regardless of your location in the U.S.
  • The invitation that you receive from YWAM Perm will be for a "Religious Worker" visa. Follow the directions for obtaining a "Business Visa" at the Russian Embassy Website.
  • If applying for a 1 year visa, you will be required to sumbit a certificate or official letter from your doctor indicating your HIV status.
