King's Kids Discipling

Intensive King's Kids Discipling

The snow was really coming down, but our taxi driver didn't seem to notice as he zoomed down the icy streets. Lena and I (Milan) had to catch a train scheduled to leave at 9:00 pm and not surprisingly we were running late. We arrived at the station, payed our driver and uselessly wished him to . . . drive safely. We were then sprinting to our platform, all the while heavy snow showering down on us. But we made it with just a few minutes to spare. It was then a 9 hour ride from Perm to Nizhny Tagil. If you're not a math expert this means we arrived at 6:00 am, thankfully a friend from a local church was waiting for us.

Last summer our King's Kids team went to Nizhny Tagil for outreach; our impressions on the local church were so positive that they invited Lena and me back to discuss King's Kids' vision for this up coming summer. We explained that currently we are praying over various youth from different churches and discipling them in their faith. We hope to build a team that the Lord will use in July for missions. Our goal destination is Kazakhstan and we hope to participate in a Gateway camp. Gateway is a specialized discipleship camp focused on the building of missions throughout Asia. With God's blessing we can obtain the team, staff, resources, and vision for this outreach. In the mean time we are knee deep in discipleship. Please join us in prayer for these young but growing Russian Christians and potential missionaries!
