January 11, 2008!

Today is my second day in Perm. I arrived with my teammate and traveling companion Amy at the base early yesterday morning after a grueling 26 hours of travel. Others of our fellow students have continued to arrive since then, and we are all in the process of settling in at our new home and getting acquainted with the many others who live and work at the base.

To GATHER and CHALLENGE people to worship, listen to and obey God, releasing them (in the context of the DTS) to serve through evangelism, intercession, acts of compassion and other expressions of God's heart for the world, possibly even pioneering new ministries.

WE MADE IT TO PERM RUSSIA!!!!
Our long trip to Perm has finally ended and we could not be more happy about that. The initial flight to Paris proved to be the longest leg of our trip but also the most uncomfortable. The seats were almost too small for Kimberly, so you can only imagine my experience.

Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Perm Russia is an amazing journey with God and people. You'll find out how to know yourself, and even better...how to know God...more than you ever thought you could. God wants you to know Him more, and when God wants something He gets it.

The Perm Russia DTS went on outreach to Novisibirsk, Mongolia, and China. Here are some photos of the ministry, the food, where we lived. Many people heard the Gospel through our DTS team! It was also awesome to see many people give their lives to the Lord
