What is Russian food really like? What do they actually cook most of the time?

Russian meals

To a Russian a meal is not complete without bread. That's one thing I've noticed here. They also eat a lot of potatoes and macaroni. We have introduced the taco to our circle of Russian friends and they are starting to like them. Typically the food isn't spicy at all and sometimes bland.
