In November our Village Ministries Evangelism team was able to visit four villages: Yaranino, Istok, Abog, and Mitrofanova. These villages turned out to be much smaller than we thought, as Russian villages all over are becoming ghost towns."

Rainy October

Reaching the unreached in the North

Our team along with the students from the Discipleship Training School (DTS) had the once-in-a-year opportunity to travel to some of the remotest villages in the northern part of the Perm province. I still cannot believe we made it there!

The April 2007 Village Ministry Trip

At the end of April we traveled together with four other people from the local “Calvary Chapel” church to the north of our province.

We visited the village of Tsidva, which is located 420 km north from the city of Perm. After we passed the village of Vilgort the road in front of us simply ended, and as we headed in the direction of Tsidva we traveled on just snow and mud. MORE...
